Mission Statement

Mission Statement of Crystal Publishing, LLC

Readers make good writers and good writers are good readers.

Our mission (in a nutshell) is two-fold:

  • to create a fun and engaging site for readers of all ages.
  • to create a fun and engaging site for writers of all ages.

Our Formal Mission

Crystal Publishing, LLC embraces the unique connection between readers and writers.  Everyone has at least one story to tell.  What’s yours?   Crystal Publishing offers you the tools to tell that story effectively and successfully. We offer everything writers need to turn their imaginations into reality. We have proofreaders and editors, artists, musicians, tech support, bloggers, and translators all dedicated to you.  You can publish a hardcover book or an ebook for mobile devices.

Perhaps you have a special story you have created for your child or grandchild.  Perhaps you have an idea that will improve the life of some child somewhere.  Give the gift of words: inspire and empower! Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.” ― Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind

Give us an idea, a plan, an outline, and our team will make it happen.  Yes, even our very own ghostwriters can lend you a hand (invisible).  We are targeting an audience of young, imaginative readers:  children, young adults, and memoirs with a message.  Non-fiction for children will be considered; historical accuracy is important. Our team historian has great expertise in that area.

Caveat:  We will not publish anything with explicit sexual language/acts or excessive violence.  Remember your audience, please.

General Focus

Good readers make good writers and good writers are good readers.  Both require vivid imaginations and story-telling abilities. Crystal Publishing’s goal is to connect the reader within you to the potential writer within you and develop an established reading audience of like-minded readers.

We are a small publishing house delivering new, unmarketed reading to a voracious audience of young readers.  Because of this, we do not have manuscripts on backlog for months and months.  The general formalities of a large publishing house do not apply here.  For example, you do not need to write a query letter.
